The first edition of India GI Fair and Khilona-India Toys & Games Fair, Maa Shishu, and STEM events was organized simultaneously from 26 to 28 August 2022 at the India Exposition Mart & Centre, Greater Noida. The events, organized by EPCH, were inaugurated by Shri Upendra Pratap Singh, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles.

The three-day show started with great excitement. BAA booth was located at a prime location with visibility from all sides that gave our members an easy approach. Lot of our members visited the show and took benefit from the products exhibited. BAA members were happy with this new platform and look forward to future editions. Due to the nature of product and the way the show was organized, there was a significant footfall despite being the 1st show. Buyers showed significant enthusiasm and their presence and positive feedbacks clearly validated the success of the show.

India GI Fair is India’s first trade event of its kind, showcasing the strength of Indian products, through an exhibitor strength of 300+ and 12 major categories segmented. There were two Panel Discussions scheduled during the show titled, ‘Reinventing the Future of Toys’ and ‘Geographical Indication (GI) -Ecosystem and Initiatives for Brand Promotion through Market Linkages’ on the second day of the show. Among the panelists were leading industry professionals and consultants. The organizers also felicitated and awarded the Best Display at the show.
