YES, in association with the Buying Agents Association, organized an event at Hotel Amara, Moradabad on 29th June 2018. The event was orchestrated to bridge the gap between the exporters and the Buying Agents and, to communicate a positive message to both. The event was also named accordingly, ie. SETU, meaning a bridge. The convention was addressed by speakers who shared their experience and knowledge about the industry. Mrs Christine E Rai, chairperson BAA, introduced BAA and its vision. Mr Lokesh Parashar shared his views on relationships at work and value for money. Mr Rohit Guha shared his experiences with Moradabad and talked about the way forward, for the crafts of Moradabad. Mrs Ruma Malik spoke on communication, quality and the need for on-time delivery. Mr Stapal Pugla shared his honest views and worries regarding Buying Agents’ moving products from one vendor to another. Mrs Deepti Pant gave a powerful speech on design language, urging the exporters to identify their individual design language and differentiate themselves from each other; which will also eliminate the issue of products being moved around. Members of BAA and many other Buying Agents attended the event with enthusiasm. Approximately 150 exporters from Moradabad attended this event, making it a big success.
